These four instructors were practitioners to begin with. Our male instructor had never done yoga before, and only one of these instructors was a yoga teacher before learning the Rites. They are great teachers and many people have benefited from their instruction.

Note that our male instructor can't straighten his legs completely. This is due to his anatomy, not the lack of flexibility in his hamstrings or other muscles, but importantly, he maintains neutral spine and neutral pelvis throughout the movement (to protect his lower back).
